Getting ready for Supercon...

Today we will be trashing our clothes for Supercon.

I am very happy that Vera was able to find us some partially destroyed jeans at the Thrift Store... half the work has been done for us already.

It's going to be a fun day!

And then tonight we're going to Longhorn for steak!

Supercon Countdown! 12 days to go!

Today I purchased our photo-ops with George Takei, Chandler Riggs and Laurie Holden.

Those photos will be posted here in about 12 days... :D

I am very excited and a little nervous.

I hope we have time to do all the things we want to do on Saturday. 2 photo-ops plus a Q&A with George Takei and another one with Laurie Holden. And maybe even another one with Travis Love & Theodus Crane...

Wings Over Homestead (Nov. 2010)

We went to the Wings Over Homestead airshow in 2010 and saw the Blue Angels.

 I do love the sun flares that my camera captures.

 Every now and then I get lucky with a shot at an airshow.

 Sometimes I even get lucky twice.

In October of 2008 I took a trip to New Orleans

But if you look at my pictures it mostly looks like Lauren went to New Orleans and I tagged along as her personal photographer.

I guess I wasn't over my not wanting to be in pictures phase yet...

Tired today...

Just got home from work. Orion is asleep and Tom is busy doing his afternoon workout. Trying to decide what I might want for dinner while I wait for him to finish.

The Walking Dead - Senoia, GA

The first weekend in May I went on vacation. During that vacation we took a trip to Senoia, GA to visit some of the filming locations from season 3 of The Walking Dead.

I think I broke my website...

I have been neglecting my website for over a year and yesterday I decided I would start working on it again and I think I broke my photo album.

So until I get that sorted out I guess I'll be posting pictures here.

My first tattoo. May 30, 2013

 Here we are at Tattooed Theory in Hialeah, FL about to get my first tattoo. 

I am just a little nervous before getting started.

 Heather started with a short line just to show me what to expect. 

She told me it would feel like someone scratching a sunburn, and that's exactly how it felt.

 It's not that bad... I think I can do this!

 The worst part was being still for more than an hour.

I can't usually keep my legs still for more than a few minutes. 

I had to concentrate very hard on not moving.

 Outline is done and we're taking a short break before coloring him in.

 He's all done, and he's awesome.

I am very happy with how it turned out and I am already planning my next tattoo!
